Cocktail Slippers drop live single from Blaker Festival

Norwegian all-female garage/pop rock band Cocktail Slippers are kicking off 2025 with a special live release, “Live at Blaker Festival Norway”, featuring two electrifying performances captured in their raw, high-energy glory.

The single includes “You Do Run”, a fan-favourite from their 2009 album Saint Valentine’s Massacre (produced by Stevie Van Zandt), and a raucous cover of “Gloria” by Them, a staple of their live shows.

The band recalls the unforgettable festival set that led to this release:

“It was pouring rain through our entire set, but the crowd didn’t care—they danced in the summer rain and brought incredible energy. We had an absolute blast! After the show, the sound engineer told us he had recorded the concert and asked if we wanted the tapes. We thought, hey—why not? So here you go—enjoy!”

The band are currently in the studio putting the finishing touches on their sixth album, and gearing up for a busy year of touring. In May 2025, they’ll bring their high-octane rock ‘n’ roll to the Underground Garage Cruise in Miami, performing alongside Social Distortion, The Hellacopters, L7, Rocket From The Crypt, X, Supersuckers, and more.

In June, they’ll hit the stage at Norway’s biggest rock event, Tons of Rock in Oslo, turning up the volume for festival-goers. “Live at Blaker Festival Norway” is available now on all major streaming platforms.
