Dead Manifest release new single ‘Six Feet Dreaming’

Dublin alternative rock band Dead Manifest have released their latest single, Six Feet Dreaming, a track that sees the group move towards a heavier sound.

The song explores feelings of isolation, self-doubt and emotional pressure, while also highlighting resilience and the search for hope during difficult periods. According to the band, the title reflects the contrast between feeling weighed down by life’s challenges and continuing to look for meaning and connection.

Musically, Six Feet Dreaming combines driving guitar work, melodic hooks and a more intense approach than some of the band’s previous material. The track balances heavier elements with an anthemic quality, aiming to capture the struggle between feeling trapped and pushing forward.

Discussing the song, Dead Manifest described it as an important moment in their development as a band.

“Six Feet Dreaming felt like a turning point for us creatively. Working with Cahir and Allan completely changed the way we approached songwriting and arrangement – everything became about serving the song in the strongest possible way. Lyrically, it’s about feeling stuck beneath the weight of your own thoughts and circumstances, but still holding onto the belief that things can improve. We wanted the song to feel heavy emotionally while still having big hooks and a sense of release.”

Dead Manifest have built a growing following on the Irish alternative music scene through a series of live performances across Dublin and beyond.

Recent appearances have included a headline show at Fibber Magees in Dublin and a main stage performance at The Works Festival. The group is also scheduled to perform at Beardfire Festival and Dublin’s Workman’s Club in the coming months.

The new single was recorded at Badlands Studio with producers Cahir O’Doherty, known for his work with Fighting With Wire, Jet Plane Landing and New Pagans, and Allan McGreevy of New Pagans. O’Doherty also handled mixing duties, while the track was mastered by Ste Kerry.

With Six Feet Dreaming, Dead Manifest continue to develop their sound, presenting a heavier and more confident direction as they build momentum on the Irish alternative rock circuit.
