Britain and Ireland’s fast-rising boyband December 10 have secured their first major video chart milestone, reaching No.1 on this week’s Pure M Music Video Chart Top 20 with their latest single, Angel. The track climbs 14 places to take the top spot, marking another step in the group’s rapid ascent.
Written and produced by established hitmakers Julian Bunetta, known for work with Sabrina Carpenter and Teddy Swims, alongside Savan Kotecha, whose credits include Ariana Grande and The Weeknd, Angel presents a shift in tone for the seven-piece. The single is a melody-led ballad, built around a softer, more intimate sound that captures the intensity of new romance.
The release follows the band’s debut single Run My Way, a more energetic introduction that has already amassed millions of streams, including over two million on Spotify. The track also achieved No.1 positions on both the Official Physical and Vinyl Singles Charts, establishing a strong commercial foundation for the group.
The official music video for Angel, which premiered on YouTube on 13 March, reflects this more restrained direction. Directed by Laurence Warder, whose previous work includes projects with Bring Me The Horizon, J Hus and Kasabian, the video reframes the song as a reflective and understated performance piece. Production is handled by Vicky Kanji-Smith for Bad Bones Films, with cinematography led by Josh Spear. Post-production duties were overseen by Katie Harris, with editing by Gary Coogan and Johnny Richards, and colour grading completed at Ink Studios.
The visual approach complements the track’s tone, favouring a slow-burning narrative over high-energy imagery, and reinforces the group’s attempt to broaden their artistic range early in their career.
Alongside the chart success, December 10 have confirmed details of their 2026 headline tour, December 10: The Next Step. The UK and Ireland run will begin on 10 July at Edinburgh’s Assembly Rooms, before continuing through Liverpool, Leeds, Sheffield, Wolverhampton, Bristol and London. The tour will conclude with dates at Ulster Hall in Belfast on 20 July and the National Stadium in Dublin on 21 July.
Tickets for all dates are scheduled to go on sale at 10am on Friday 10 April via Ticketmaster, as the band look to translate their early chart momentum into a sustained live presence.
