Hard rock heroes Halestorm burst back onto the scene in April by unleashing an enthralling tune titled “Darkness Always Wins”.
Explaining the meaning of the new song in a social media post at the time of its release, Halestorm frontwoman Lzzy Hale stated, “Darkness Always Wins is not a song of hope, nor is it a song of despair. It is Reality. History repeating. Evil prevails and the Good depart first. But we are not doomed as long as we persist and keep our fires burning. The War may not be won in this lifetime. But our mission is to pass the torch so that those who follow have a light to fight with.”
The highly skilled quartet subsequently revealed that their highly-anticipated sixth full length record, Everest, will descend upon the planet on August 8th and unveiled the upcoming album’s engrossing eponymous song in May.
Speaking about the song on social media, Halestorm said, “Everest is the summit of everything we’ve fought for—every scream, every scar, every triumph. This single is US, louder and bolder, and more brutally honest than ever, standing tall in the face of the storm.”
Then, in June, the band unleashed an official music video for the single that got the hype going for Everest, “Darkness Always Wins”.
This was followed by the unveiling of another enthralling tune titled “Rain Your Blood On Me” in July.
Now they’ve just dropped yet another single called “Like A Woman Can”.
Like the three singles from Everest that preceded it, “Like A Woman Can” is a consistently captivating and magnificently deep and meaningful rock belter brought to life by an irresistibly enchanting fusion of typically grippingly gorgeous and jaw-droppingly zestful vocals, wonderfully thought-provoking and inspiring lyrics, and characteristically skilful and exhilarating instrumentation that’s guaranteed to go down well with established Halestorm enthusiasts as well as please a massive amount of genre fans in general.

“Like A Woman Can” is also available to stream and purchase, along with its upcoming parent compilation’s aforementioned previous three engrossing singles, now.
