Pilgrims announce Dublin, London and Paris shows for September

Pilgrims, the musical project of Paul Noonan and Brian Crosby, have announced three autumn shows in Dublin, London and Paris.

The duo will perform at Dublin’s National Concert Hall on 12 September, followed by dates at SJQ in London on 17 September and Centre Culturel Irlandais in Paris on 18 September. Tickets for the Dublin show are available now, while tickets for the London and Paris dates go on sale on 5 June.

The newly announced concerts follow a sold-out Irish tour and continue Pilgrims’ return to live performance with a stripped-back format centred on piano and vocals.

Pilgrims reunites two musicians whose creative partnership stretches back to their teenage years. Noonan and Crosby first played together in Juniper, alongside Damien Rice, before becoming founding members of Bell X1. Since then, both artists have pursued separate projects, with Noonan continuing as Bell X1’s frontman while also working on projects including Printer Clips and HousePlants. Crosby has focused on film composition as well as solo piano and ambient recordings.

The September dates come in support of Wintering, Pilgrims’ debut album, which was released in January 2026. The record marked the pair’s first full collaborative release in more than 16 years.

Written between 2024 and 2025 and recorded at Crosby’s Treehouse Studios in Co Wicklow, Wintering is a piano-led collection that places an emphasis on atmosphere, space and vocal performance. Many of the songs began as instrumental pieces or lyrical ideas before being developed through the duo’s songwriting partnership.

According to the artists, the album took shape during a series of intimate live performances in early 2025, where the material was tested and refined in front of audiences before entering the studio.

The live show draws heavily from Wintering while also featuring selected songs connected to the musicians’ shared history in Bell X1.

The upcoming run will bring Pilgrims to three small-scale venues, reflecting the intimate approach that has defined both the album and the project’s live performances.
