Irish musicians Rebecca Geary, Conor McLoughlin, Sean O’Connor and Cormac O’Neill, known collectively as Sick Love, have been busy exciting audiences on both sides of the Irish Sea with their assortment of awesomely energetic rock anthems throughout 2019.
Having gotten the year going by unleashing a fantastically fiery single named “Soccer Mom” back in February, the proficient foursome went on to spend the spring and summer lighting up stages at music venues across Ireland and the UK, in cities such as Dublin, London, Brighton, Salisbury and Kilkenny, and, while doing so, also managed to find time to release two more tunes entitled “Gun in Your Pocket” and “Decoy”, which dropped on iTunes in May and June, respectively.
Now, ahead of a winter tour (the full details of which can be found on the band’s official Facebook page that kicks off at Galway’s renowned Róisín Dubh venue on November 19th and includes a further seven shows across Ireland and the UK, the quartet have unveiled a brand new song called “I Want You All of the Time”.
The delightfully spunky three and a quarter minute offering is introduced by some brilliantly vibrant vocals, which proceed to exude oodles of power and passion atop a sea of superbly energetic instrumentation during a fantastically vitalising first verse before the whole thing transitions into a terrifically vigorous chorus.
This is succeeded by an absorbingly peppy second stanza, after which another exceptionally exhilarating chorus prefaces an exhibition of extremely rousing instrumentation that leads into an electrifying final minute full of stupendously spirited singing and tremendously thrilling instrumentation. The outcome is a characteristically captivating combination of exceedingly tuneful and expressive singing and exceptionally skilful and exuberant guitar, bass and drum work from Sick Love that’s sure to allure a large listenership.
