The past year has certainly been an exciting time for fans of pop punk icons Tom DeLonge, Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker, or, as they’re once again collectively known, legendary genre ensemble Blink-182.
Not only did the band announce the enthusiastically-welcomed return of founding member/guitarist/vocalist Tom to the line-up in late 2022, reveal that a new album is on the way and outline plans for a massive world tour in 2023, the much-loved trio also just dropped a delightfully attitude-infused tune titled “Edging” last October.
In a statement announcing all of the above on social media at the time, Blink said, delighting countless enthusiasts the world over in the process, “We’re coming. Tour’s coming. Album’s coming. Tom’s coming.”
Then, in the midst of their European tour last months and just weeks before they highly-anticipated new album descends upon the planet on October 20th, the trio unveiled a single in the form of their forthcoming record’s riveting title track, “One More Time”.
Now they’ve just unleashed two more tunes titled “Dance with Me” and “Fell in Love”, respectively.
Like “Edging” before them, both songs are irresistibly riveting and marvellously peppy pop punk compositions that contain a single dull moment between them. Also like “Edging”, this pair of peppy pop punk compositions are packed with spellbindingly harmonious and magnificently zestful singing and hugely exciting and exceptionally skilful instrumental work, representing Blink at their very best and they are guaranteed to please the band’s legions of devotees across the planet as well as being sure to enthral anyone who listens to it.
You can listen to “Dance with Me” and “Fell in Love” via their official music video and official lyric video, respectively, below.
