Ireland’s Eurovision 2022 representative Brooke Scullion has just dropped her debut EP, Chaotic Heart, following up her fantastically vigorous Eurovision entry tune, “That’s Rich”, as well as subsequent extremely enthralling tunes “Tongues” and “Heartbreaker”, which dropped to stream and download in late May and August, respectively.
The arrival of inaugural compilation from Brooke, who originally caught the public’s attention when she competed and became a finalist in The Voice UK two years ago and has subsequently accumulated millions of streams of her music online as well as acclaim and attention from the likes of BBC Introducing and numerous Spotify editorial playlists including New Music Friday, Global Viral Charts and New Pop UK Playlists, was accompanied by an Instagram post by the exceedingly talented singer/songwriter that said, “‘CHAOTIC HEART’ is officially Out Now. My first ever EP and the first body of work I’ve ever created! Here’s to many more ?❤️ thank you all so much for helping me get here,
“Love Brooke x”.
The entrancing five track record opens with the invigorating “Attention”, which showcases a captivating combination of delightfully expressive singing and marvellously animated music ahead of the aforementioned “Heartbreaker”, the enticingly soft and extremely stirring verses and spellbindingly passionate choruses of which ensure it remains riveting until the spotlight shifts to the fantastically energetic and magnificently attitude-infused vocals and enormously energising instrumentation of Eurovision belter “That’s Rich”, after which post-Eurovision single “Tongues” exhibits a consistently absorbing synthesis of splendidly atmospheric verses and wonderfully rousing choruses as it escorts the EP affectingly towards a mesmerizingly melodious and massively moving finale in the form of “Enough”.
Unsurprisingly, Brooke’s debut EP as a whole is as remarkably riveting and impressively passionate and full of feeling and vigour as each of the singles that preceded it, and just like each of those musical offerings individually, Chaotic Heart as a whole consists of an irresistibly engrossing combination of awesomely zestful and tremendously melodic singing and immensely mellifluous and enormously absorbing music that is guaranteed to attract a vast and varied listenership, and is sure to elevate its artist further still up the ladder to super stardom, and once again deservedly so, because, as I’ve said before and will no doubt say again, she definitely has the talent that it takes to make it to the top.
You can listen to Brooke’s renowned and engrossing Eurovision entry song, “That’s Rich”, via its official music video below.
“That’s Rich” is also available to stream on Spotify and download on iTunes, along with the rest of Chaotic Heart, now.
